Porcelain fairy

Quantity

Altea is a flower fairy, dressed in taffeta, finished with flowers and coconut fibre, little flowers in her hair and little bells.

Available in pink, lilac or yellow, please indicate the chosen color at the time of purchase

The name derives from the Greek àlthos, which means to heal, to heal. Pliny the Elder associated this flower with motherhood and pregnancy. Marshmallow is also associated with Mallow, as the properties are very similar.

In Greek mythology, the flower is associated with the figure of Altea, a queen of Calydon, mother of Dejanira (wife of Hercules) and Meleager.

The Amaryllis, the Ninfea, Salcerella and Asfodelo belong to the same family.

NB: it is a handmade product, entirely handmade. The photo must be considered purely indicative, since each piece is subject to slight modifications (fabrics and finishes), which however do not alter its peculiar characteristics, increasing its value.

Please specify any special requests (concerning the color of the dress or hair) when ordering.
