The onion in Ancient Egypt was consecrated to the goddess Isis and was connected to eternal life and the afterlife. In Greece, however, it was consecrated to the goddess Latona, mother of Artemis and Apollo. The onion was also considered very effective against the spells of witches and the works of evil spirits.

NB: it is a handmade product, entirely handmade. The photo must be considered purely indicative, since each piece is subject to slight modifications (fabrics and finishes), which however do not alter its peculiar characteristics, increasing its value.
