The Bucaneve, also called Stella del Mattino, takes its name from the Greek words "gala" (milk), "anthos" (flower) and "nivalis" (in the snow). It is associated with hope for the future and the transition from winter gloom to spring serenity. According to a Greek legend, the snowdrop was born from the tears of the wind, which every year at the first warmth of the sun mourns the death of Icarus. For example, it is mentioned in the verses of the Odyssey, when it is described as the magical herb that cured Odysseus against the symptoms of Circe's poison. Among the Celts, it was sacred to the goddess Brigit.

NB: it is a handmade product, entirely handmade. The photo must be considered purely indicative, since each piece is subject to slight modifications (fabrics and finishes), which however do not alter its peculiar characteristics, increasing its value.

Please specify any special requests (concerning the color of the dress or hair) when ordering.
