Fairy dressed in a cloth, voile and net dress, finished with coconut fibre, bells, antennae, flowers and wings.

Among the Greeks and the Celtic populations, the Violet was an emblem of innocence. The violet flower is mentioned in several mythological stories. It is said that the nymph Io, courted by Apollo, refused to give in to him and so he, indignant at her, transformed her into a chaste and modest flower: the violet. Another myth tells that the god Vulcan, despite his rather repulsive appearance, wanted at all costs to please his wife Venus and so he wrapped his head with a crown of violets: the goddess, bewitched by the inebriating perfume, could not resist him.

NB: it is a handmade product, entirely handmade. The photo must be considered purely indicative, since each piece is subject to slight modifications (fabrics and finishes), which however do not alter its peculiar characteristics, increasing its value.

Please specify any special requests (concerning the color of the dress or hair) when ordering.
