Porcelain fairy

Quantity

Fairy dressed in a taffeta and synthetic fur dress, finished with large wings, coir, flowers and bells. To the same series belong: Brina, Neve and Nuvola.

The Fog symbolizes uncertainty, a sort of intermediate zone placed between the real and the unreal. In Celtic mythology it covered the part of the Earth on the border between the inhabited world and the islands of the afterlife. In Norse mythology Niflheimr, homeland of the mists, is the mythical-symbolic expression that defines the territories inaccessible to man. Over these lands, Hel, queen of the underworld, ruled over men who had not been chosen by the Valkyries as Odin's warriors. In European fairy tales fog is often regarded as a phenomenon related to the activities of boiling, fermenting, spinning or other characteristic actions of gnomes and witches.

NB: it is a handmade product, entirely handmade. The photo must be considered purely indicative, since each piece is subject to slight modifications (fabrics and finishes), which however do not alter its peculiar characteristics, increasing its value.

Please specify any special requests (concerning the color of the dress or hair) when ordering.
