Porcelain fairy

Quantity

The Ginestra fairy is a flower fairy, who takes her name from a splendid flower, which immediately evokes summer. She has a velvet chenille dress, trimmed with lace, and a skirt of leaves and petals. Among the long hair gathered in braids there is a crown of flowers, pistils and leaves. It is finished with little flowers and bells.

In the language of flowers, the Ginestra in many Mediterranean countries symbolizes modesty and humility, as it also grows in very arid soils. In England however, where it gives its name to one of the most important noble dynasties (the name of the Plantagenet family derives from the Latin name of the broom, or planta genistae and the flower will be used in the heraldic coat of arms) it symbolizes brightness and splendour. We recall that in the classical age Pliny reported the belief that there was gold in the ashes of the broom, precisely because of the bright and intense color of this flower.

NB: it is a handmade product, entirely handmade. The photo must be considered purely indicative, since each piece is subject to slight modifications (fabrics and finishes), which however do not alter its peculiar characteristics, increasing its value.

Please specify any special requests (concerning the color of the dress or hair) when ordering.
